I have a 1950 M I just picked up last weekend (first red tractor). Anyway when I bought it the guy said he had never shut off the fuel and the 90 degree bend where you turn it off or on was facing 3 o'clock so figuring it was like my 51 Deere I turned it 90 degrees to 12 o'clock to shut off the gas when I parked it. I could smell gas when I was cleaning off the carb monday night and when I went out tonight there is gas leaking from the bottom of the carb and at the sediment bowl, so I turned it back to 3 o'clock. So how do you shut off the gas on the sediment bowl? Turn it 90 degrees or is it a screw in shut off type? Thanks
