looking at a farmall 350 at a dealership. they supposedly replace the main cluth but know thwe t/a is slipping on both the high and lowside.i thought with and bad t/a it would still pull on the high side.they are asking 1000$ as is.it fired right up.after sitting since October.the repair shop manager just rubbed me the wrong way.he said he has been doing this for 50 years.he said he knows vhat he is talking about.they would replace the ta for another 1000$the qeution is /is it worth it or a money pit.the previous owner cut his losses and ran.i realize it could make acheap tractor but do I really want to sink a new t/a in something that I only heard run for 5 minites.or sould I run too.
