hold the top half of carb upside down and set float level, as in level position. that's all it takes. I believe the main jet is 21/2 turns out if I remember. also if you don't have an inline filter in it then you may be picking up bits of rust particules from tank, as sediment bowl probably has the screen missing as most do. it just takes one small flake and your screwed. the gas is pumped with force and causes this problem. not like gravity where it settles out. then carb has to come off and blow it out. make sure the passages are free. the fan hub you need to add oil to it.
