Bill, I guess you haven't seen one of the Cub blocks that were ruined by over torqueing the bolts. The five bolts on the dist side have water passages on 3 sides and the threaded part is only connected to the rest of the block by 3 thin webs! I don't know how much torque the P O used, but three of the threaded parts were pulled out...the block was ruined. 70 ft. lbs? YIKES! George Willer
