My international 574 with d239 is not charging. I checked the wires they look good. Got the volt meter out and testested it with the engine off. 12 volts on one of the posts on top and on the charging lug. Turn ignition on and I now have 12 volts on the second post on top. Started engine revved to 1500 rpm. turned lights on and main lug on alternator is at 11.5 volts. Bought a reman alternator and same result. Am I missing something. I will get the alternator tested next week. Just can"t do it on the weekend. Thanks for any and all help
