I have a Ihc circa 1939-1949 it looks like an A but it is a trycycle (only one front wheel) looks like A or B engine etc . It is offset and the wheels are like 72" apart the power take off is in the rear, the stearing shaft runs to the base of the radiator-- it has a 4 speed transmission and a mount for a starter but has no electrics at all just crank start and a mag no teeth on flywheel. the radiator has a tag on is that has the following melrose pk wks 271 898 R91 L45 I would like to restore and need more information. I have looked through 100's of photo's but no match mainly because of the single front wheel/yoke assembly. also it has a flat belt pto in the rear behind the seat and a splined shaft pto in the usual place. I have removed the head because the pistons are frozen looks like it got water in the rear cyl. little or no wear on cylinders, must have had new liners at some time. the piston's say std on the top with an arrow that points forward in half of the cyl. and back in the other two?? which way is correct? Any help apreciated. Thanks George
