I thought about that and tried to get the arm off, but it seemed to be seized up and I didn't have a puller at the time. Also, I noticed that there don't seem to be any room behind the arm for the puller's jaws to get a bite, anyway.
I would much rather it be off of there, though. What's the usual way in removing a steering arm?
If I did manage to get it off, would there be any in and out play on the sector gear shaft without the arm, that I would need to fill in the space with washers or something?
