Neighbor of 20 plus years just bought property adjacent to mine. Only like 1.5 acres. He forgot that it is underwater several times a year. This is because 18 years or so ago I bermed it to keep from flooding house and barn. Now after purchase he is crying that it is worthless and he was planning to sell it. Maybe his wife is upset about purchase. Well in Mich this is 100 year flood I suppose. He thinks I should knock down berm and risk likely flooding house. What is the right thing to do. He has seen this water problem for 18 years and never concerned with it until he purchased it. Any and all ideas are appreciated. He insists there is no danger for my buildings. I know better but he insists there would be no problem. I said give me a "million dollar warranty." and I would remove berm. Can I break this dam and later put it back. It is on my property. Dave
