I had some 6x16" front tractor rims sand blasted this week. Then I primed and painted them. Got a pair of used 8 ply tires off a 1 ton dualy I'm going to put on them just to have a decent pair of spares around. Going tubeless on these things so needed the tubeless valve stems installed plus it's darned cold outside and I thought to heck with doing it myself I'll just take them to the big box tire store and have it done. Got there and told the tire guy they were for my tractor. He took one look at them and said he couldn't do it. Why? There's not 3/32" of tread left on them. If you are going down the road at 70 mph they could blow and then we'd have a lawsuit. I told him my tractor only does about 16 mph. Can't do it. I had him notice that the bolt pattern is 6 on 6" and mentioned there isn't anything for road use that runs that. Tried to reason with him but he just looked at me stupidly. Can't do it. Thanks for stopping by. I was real tempted to smack the sob but then figured he probably had a family to feed and didn't want to get fired. Guess I'll pick up some valve stems at Napa and do it myself like I usually do. It is a darned sad state we're handing off to our kids.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
