had some ruf weather around 9 lastnite ,, not too muchrain ,, everything could still be coaxed into burnin followed by lots of wind ,, as I go to bed I always look out the upstairs window , about midnite ,durned if the big ol poplar tree that got struck by lite;nin 5 yrs ago was on fire ,, must a got hit again ????,, tried putting it out with bukets of pond water at 1st ,, then realized the fire had too much head start , and called out the volunteers, told what I had ,, 2 guys and a brush truk come out,,, joey decided to cut the tree down ,, this thing is over 3ft thru ,, he dropped the tree ,, fire everywhere ,, we hosed it all down , and now ALL IS WELL , took 2 hours out of me and one hour away from the fire dept
