I have a Ford NAA that has problems with the hyd.
system when it gets hot. Has the hy-trol valve pump
which I think is the vane type. Looses all lift when
the tractor is worked hard as in brushhoging thick
vegation. Could the problem be the relief valve, or
worn out hyd. fluid? Or would the problem lie in the pump,
such as weak seals? There are no noticeable leaks anywhere
around the system. Would like any thoughts before I
go to the expense or having the pump rebuilt. One last thing,
if the pump needs rebuilt, how much money should I
expect it to cost? Thanks to all who reply!
