Yep . War Dept needs a new ride so we have been looking and looking . I can tell you this around here new cars are not selling . Case in point here , last year on Dec. 26th my youngest daughter was going to buy a new 2015 Chrysler 200 at a dealership that and old Friend works at .(he and i started working together back in june of 68 at the same dealership he was a new salesman and i was wrenchen . We are both the same age) back then i helped him really get a good start as all my friends would go to him and buy there new Road Runner or GTX off Denny ). So Beth and i go over there and she knows exactly what she wants and what color . They had the car and we started dealing after (now get this ) aster eight and a half hours of the boy's in the back got done playing games with numbers and after signing four different deals because they made a mistake we left with her new car , half the distance from the dealer ship they call her and said they had made a mistake once again and she would have to return and resign papers once again . SOO we trun around and drive back [pulls up to the ft. door walks in and hands them the keys back and said BYE . That was Dec. 26th 2014 , today is Oct. 29 2015 and that vary car is still setting on the lot. along with ALL the 200's that were there then . They even have 2014's still sitting on the lots around here . I saw a Jeep Charokee at a dealers lot and the sticker on it was over 78 grand for a stinking JEEP . They have priced them selfs out of the normal people buying a new car . And as for a new truck i'll be dammed if i am going to pay more for a lousy pick up- one ton then i paid for a semi and trailer that went out everyday and made a living off of .

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
