I first had this issue in October and am trying to get the unit ready for blowing snow with my CC682. It runs fine for a worn out POS for about 10 to 15 minutes and then starts missing on one cylinder. I feel it is probably the coil (Double output, expensive) or the condenser, about $20 thru NAPA.. I have checked both with a meter and results were inconclusive. If it is the condenser opening up when warm would it stop the engine with no spark to either? If I add another condenser, assumed good, parallel to the first will that possibly rule out the condenser being bad or not? If it is the coil, I will probably use a general motors double coil from a 85-2005 car along with a ballast resistor and a new condenser as suggested on several sites to keep the cost under control. Any thoughts on my logic? I could swap out the condenser with one off my shelf, but how sensitive are they to the right capacitance? Thanks, Roy
