Will fiberglass work to patch a rust hole in a diesel fuel tank, or will the diesel fuel eat it and leak? Any other better repair ideas?
Kabota M7950DT sticks a reserve fuel tank behind the grill, but in front of the rad, and then puts the battery above it. In time battery acid leaks down and rusts out the top of the tank. Problem is the tank is built with thick sidewalls and is actually a structural part of the machine. It's worth almost $2,000, is very hard to find, and my customer is getting anxious to get her tractor back.
