Finally got some video uploaded from when we dragged home this old 49 Mercury truck last fall. It sat in my uncle's abandoned yard for over 40 years without moving and I thought it was about time to bring it home before vandals or wildlife started to damage it. Someone already had broken the rear window and coons were getting into the cab. Only had to change one wheel for the six mile tow home. I was surprised a wheel and tire off a GMC bolted right up. Even the hub cap fit. They are the "widow maker" rims from what I have read so I don't want to get into changing tires. Still trying to get the engine to turn over at this point.
