Redoing the wooden floor on my front porch with untreated yellow pine. I am wondering whether it would be better to stain/paint the floor or lather it with water seal type material? Don't have any of the hard core lumber yards left around here to ask. Person at Lowe's might know, but looking for plain ole experience. Central KS location and it will see rain. Leaving a 1/16" gap between the 2x8 boards. Thanks for any help - Bob
