Massey-Harris Model 20 Spark Plug Fouling

My 1948 MH-20 is oil fouling (Autolite 386)spark plugs every 5-6 hours in two cylinders. Before I think about ring replacement, is there any other (a little hotter?) plugs (Champions or?)that will work in this Continental 4 cyl. engine? Any other ideas why I'm fouling so quickly? This is a tractor used only for boat launching every weekend; new rings seems excessive. Runs great otherwise! Thanks!
