David...before any of these well wishers gets you thinking you are the office dwelling enemy, think it all through. I love these people who only think of things from their perspective. Just as an example. Let's take the Chesapeake Bay, which has been turned into a cesspool by upland farmers and there manure run-off. This has caused the fishing industry great hardship, and they have turned to the government for help. This has put a burden on the farmers. Of course prices won't support the new regulations, so everyone including the big corporate farmers suffer. But the Big farmers can survive. It's the small ones that feel the threat. This whole story is even more complicted by price fixing, subsidies, etc. Because the small farmer gets caught in all of this, he thinks the government is out to get him. When in fact, it is the complications of society, industrialization, and a growing popultaion. But I'd still rather live in the US than anywhere else. Take Care Steve
