oppressive city ordinances Part 2

Well I got back form vacation and was overwhelmed at the responses to "oppressive city ordinances". I didnt win my case. The judge was pretty hard lined. I bet if my house was burning down and the only thing I could save was my little tractor, he'd still find me guilty for parking it in the driveway. I think i'll pay my fine with 150 one dollar bills! I was surprised at the responses from people from Farmers Branch or knew of Farmers Branch. I think the lady down the street taking her morning walk doesnt like my tractor, so maybe every morning I need to back it out onto the driveway, sit on it with it running and wave as she walks by and then pull it back into the garage. If the inspector never sees it, maybe he will get tired of her calling all the time and tell her to quit. I like the idea of painting "TRACTOR" on an old car and parking it in the driveway. And the story about the 100 acres and pigs gave me a good laugh.There is no ordinance about driving on the street, only that a farm tractor cant exceed 9 feet. No problem on a Farmall Super-A ! I need to drive by her house every day too. I'd sell and head for the country except I'm 10 or 15 minuets from work and my wife has only 3 traffic lights to her work and if any of ya'll have ever lived in a big city (Farmers Branch is a N. Dallas surburb), then you know how important it is to be near your work. I grew up in MS so when retirement time comes, we are definantly heading to the country, preferably outside ANY city limits!
