If they are worth so much how come we, that is the tax payer in MN had to pay for that stadium? It's not like they bring that much money into the state. Heck even though they were reimbursed the cost of hosting the Super Bowl for just Minneapolis was 7.4 million dollars. Don't know how much the suburbs spent and St Paul had to spend.
As how good they are? How many Super Bowls has they Vikings appeared in? How many did they win? When was the last time they got to the Super Bowl? Now, how many times have the Cowboys been to the Super Bowl? How many have they won?
I've said time and again that I'm against subsidies. When the state payed 1/2 of the stadium? That's a subsidy. They state will never get back what they put into it. Heck the Lite Rail in the Twin cities runs on a subsidy. For every dollar of operating cost the people of the twin cities and MN pay about 65 cents. I don't like that at all. At least when a farmer gets a subsidy all of society benefits even if most don't see it that way. It keeps the cost of food down and is of great benefit to national security. No one can use food as a weapon like we have done with grain embargoes.

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
