Pete, thanks for additional info! what I really want to do is put a scoop on the back, to move gravel, poop, etc. I have a 10 cu ft scoop that I got real cheap, but I think it is too big. A smaller one would be more appropriate. A 7 cu ft scoop, loaded with gravel, would weight around 1000 pounds Gross weight. I really don't wonat to break anything! So, to answer your question, I want to lift the weight, not pull it. If that kind of weight makes the front end come up, at least I would get a warning that I am pushing things too far. I am more concerned with sudden bad noises, followed by the sound of my wallet emptying as I pay for replacement parts! Please tell me more about your bush hog. I was going to go the pull-behind route for a mower, rather than a 3 point type, due to the offset PTO. I was simply going to put the mower into a hole on the drawbar over to the left, to try to keep the PTO shaft as straight as possible. What are you using, and how is it working out?? I am planning on placeing an order for a mower next month, so this would be very helpful info right now! Thanks
