You're wrong in my area people see farmers all the time its a city/urban/rural mix and the different type farmers.Some farm like they did 50 years ago (me in this group),some have 400ft confinement operations in all in between.But I'll say talking to people in general farmers have lost some of the public's respect, a lot has to do with the way many farmers milk the taxpayers for money.
