Down here in the south we use disc plows not bottom plows I believe their called.can anyone tell me where the “dividing line “ is in general where a particular type plow is used?and why would a bottom plow be better than a disc or worse.as in making the ground less firm where boggy conditions exist like here near the achafalaya river basin where there is no hard bottom.and when going deep while plowing it might bring up nutrients but doesn’t it also bring up undesirable grass seeds?
