We have been doing what we do for a very long time. I don't intend to move into a tent to save the earth assome of the extremists seem to think I should. I will continue to eat meat. I will continue to cook it. I will also continue to enjoy it!
One of the things about climate change that continues to be overlooked is what the third world is doing. China, Southeast Asia, and other industrializing areas are now the largest contributors to damaging the environment. They have no EPA to prevent them from poisoning their rivers, air, and land. And, the Paris Accords on climate change want us to ruin our economy to clean up while others like China get a pass. Does that seem fair to you?
We live in the cleanest place on earth! Our cars run cleaner than they ever have - and get cleaner every year. High efficiency heating and cooling appliances are the standard now. Homes are better insulated. Light bulbs draw a tiny fraction of the power that they used to while providing the same amount of light.
So, what do you suggest that is realistic? I had this conversation with another liberal, and his answer was vote. Wow.
