This is a good question for a rainy day like it is here today. What was the first tractor you bought to farm with when you started farming ? For me it was a International 1086 with cab and duals. Dad thought I had lost my mind.. He said it was way too big.A neighbor that we lease some land from had a retirement auction, and I was fortunate enough to be able to win the bid. It's been a dependable tough Ole bird. Grandaddy said his first was a Farmall model H bought new. He also said that the H did not stand for heaven when it came the time of year to have to take the cultivators on and off plus mounting a corn picker on it as it was the only tractor at the time, but it sure beat looking at a mules transmission all day, everyday.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
