Hi JBMac76, I am not sure if I can help or not. We have a 6260 and I will see if I can find its documentation. Sometimes the manual has a wiring schematic, or a wiring schematic out sent out with them when new. We have had ours since new. Where are you located? I know a dealer who could certainly help but they are a very small family run operation and I don't feel comfortable swamping them with calls from everyone throughout the country who has a Deutz tractor.
Regardless, congratulations on the 6240! 2wd or 4wd? I have not ever actually seen one with the power control. I believe that is rare. Our 6260 is mfwd with a loader. We have done and continue to do things no little 56hp tractor should be doing. Neighbors and others who have seen it in action have told us so. Short wheelbase with good turning angle makes it really handy especially for loader work, and can get through mud and snow for those less than desirable days that we call just another day on the farm.
