I need to move rears on a 3020 in to accommodate 30" row use. I have the manual and think I understand the steps. What I need to know is basically what am I in for? Should I spray bolts with liquid wrench in advance? Impact wrench ok?
Not my only vintage unit so I understand that when I adjust something, it is with the understanding that possibly this procedure hasn't been done since 1967.
Or am I too pessimistic and will see how this rim just glides across that axle as I turn pinion with one hand.
