Video came thru just fine.....The TA shifter does not work at all. When I got the tractor..the TA did not work and the PTO would not shut off...I worked on the PTO...read on here and made adjustments to the linkage...and now PTO shuts off and on like it should with the lever.
I went to the TA side to try and do the same thing...but was unable to get one of the pins out of the rods and held off until I could get more knowledge before adjusting anything.
So when I pull the TA lever back now...the rods move nothing as there is so much play...seems I have some threads left to adjust down to try and get the TA to engage....but unsure why previous owner did not do the same thing.

Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
