Hello Wayne welcome to YT! Apparently your tractor has a TA. The TA direct clutch release is out of adjustment, the short rod on the side where the clutch and TA linkage are. If the link to this video from an ..enemy camp.. will go through without being blocked it shows you what to do. It will make the clutch push harder at the bottom of the stroke, but it will release the fight between the one way sprague and the direct clutch in the reverse direction (opposite way the engine turns) It shows a 300 but your tractor has the same mechanical TA.
