One thing I forgot to mention earlier. The 4020 came in two versions of the transmission: Syncro-Range and Powershift. With all other things being equal, I would choose the Syncro-Range. It was a conventional, engine-clutch-w/spur-gear unit, using technology that had been around for years. It is easy enough to use. The Powershift was new and very different at the time it was used on the 4020.
