I don't believe I was saying anything bad about Texas, only that I am turned off on the state now having two bad experieces out of the 85 plus tractors I have bought in the past 5 years, both of those instances having been in Texas. I was not able to get things hauled, I farm and I cannot just up and go on the weekend to Texas to pick up tractors on my own. I was there to pick up the tractor but it was not there. I also had to go get the other one as well. So I have learned this, I cannot get a tractor out of there reasonably unless I plan on getting it myself, which I did not want to do in these other instances. Sorry that you were confused that I was condeming the state, I guess I should have titled the original Turned Off on Texas because of 2 bad transactions but whatever. I don't know what you mean by "people like that" that kind of sounds judgemental to me, not something I would ever say. Your are correct in saying that people should be more through, that was the point of the story.

JB Weld is basically an epoxy glue that does an exceptionally good job of bonding to cast iron and steel along with several other materials. As I mentioned, it is so common that I have yet to buy a tractor that did not have JB Weld used somewhere. It is sometimes used so well you can't tell its there and other times used as a sloppy quick fix. Finding where and how it can be used correctly is key to whether you are using it as an "inelegant hack" or an integral solution to difficult and expens ... [Read Article]
