I know its a little of topic, but want some non biased opinions on this. Our club had its annual show this past Friday and Saturday.Im not going into specifics on who these folks are involved, but I had invited them to come with the approval of the club members,or so I thought anyways.Well being the first "tractor show" these guys and gals came to they were very accepted simply for what they were doing, grilling hamburgers and selling raffle tickets for a petal tractor.(The club is selling them as well for the same thing, didnt want to tajke tickets away from that and take food away from the ONE vendor that accuallt stayed there for Saturday, although the food was not for sale but rather an exchange, give a pint of blood and get a free hamburger!) Well as it turns out many of the club memebers enjoyed them being there but some of them were outraged that they even came.yes this gruop can get a little loud at times but they are having fun which is what I thought this hobby was all about....having fun!Seems not!Seems that all its come to is that the rich boys who give the big money to the club expect it to be run the way they want it to be regardless of the fact they dont come to half the meeting!Someone complains about the smallest details and its a major crime! WHile loading up to come home I was told by one person that they thought it was a good idea to get these guys back next year for the wonderful work they did there and continue to do throughout the year.I was also asked by the "rich guy" not to invite these guys back anymore and the president also told me they werent welcome anymore. I dont know what all happened with these guys and quite frankly I dont care!that was yesterday and today is a different day!But I think what upsets me the most is that everything was ok until the day they showed up.Its like "Lets use these guys for some free publicity!" Well, anyways my questions to you guys are #1 Would you stay in this club? and #2 if you do then how do you go about solving this conflict with the members of the club?

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
