Gooseneck trailer hitch ?

Not a tractor question but I figured that you guys must haul these tractors somehow. I am using a Cornpro 20' gooseneck that you drive the tractor between the fenders. When I pull it the steering wheel shakes some especially empty. My question is do I have the ball in the right place? I am getting a new truck in April and need to know exactly where the ball in the bed goes, Exactly above the rear axle, a couple inches ahead,or behind. Thanks, Dan
