Paul: Thanks for your response. I see your point, however, I only have half a dozen areas where I have large unremovable rocks that are level with the rest of the field and one field on a hill where the top soil has eroded to about 6". I have lots of top soil in other areas that are not being farmed, such as in the woodland. I could easily add 2 or 3' to these areas. At least it would keep my plow from tripping, but would anything grow in these spots? Has anyone actually tried this?
