I guess Buickandeere does have a point about Diesels & ego. But I think I made a better investment in my trucks than folks paying big dollars for "Luxury" vehicles. I paid about 20 thou for my 92 Dodge/Cummins 4X4 new. It has 150K miles, & other than tires, filters, & fluids, all I have done to it was replace the waterpump. Not bad for 12 years of use. I get calls wanting to buy it on a regular basis, but i am going to keep it, hopefully it will last at least 12 more years. Back to cost, I really feel in the long run, diesels are cheaper to run.
