spinning bearings?

If the crank shaft, connecting rod journals are .002 out of tolerance, out of round, would this be enough to cause the bearings to "spin" & how does a bearing actually "spin"? I would think there is less friction between the crank journal & the bearing than between the back of the bearing & the connecting rod. This is in a 69 Case 580CK. I didn't want to get into removing the crank if I didn't have to. How do you know if a bearing spins? Is there a noise? Thanks Jim
