Hi Gene, I'm currently using the 6000 myself. Only problem we've had so far is whenever we get storms or inclimate weather, we have to unplug it, wait about a minute, then plug it back in and it will reboot itself. It also seems to need to be rebooted about once every two weeks regardless. Seems like it collects a static charge or something and starts giving us all kinds of goofy stuff when we try to surf. Then we know it's time to reboot. We have a total of four computers using this connection thru a standard NetGear hub. The hub just sees the 6000 as another computer, so you don't need to use the "uplink" mode on the hub. Just plug the modem in to it like you do the computers and set all computers to automatic discovery of internet connection and you're up and running. Pretty easy really. Hope this helps you a bit. Ron
