OT: House Painting blues

Well, my wife has me started on a project to re-paint the whole house (inside). It needs it and I do not really mind it, however, there has to be a better way!! I use throw away everything when painting. Brushes, rollers, paint pans... SOOOO much easier than having to clean up everything at the end of each day. The problem is that old fashioned rollers and brushes are just too slow. I have tried a wagner paint roller (piece of junk), wagner sprayer (too messy and also a piece of junk) and wondered what others are using to speed up their paint jobs. I do like that with a roller and brush it seems to come out perfect as I have the most control over the paint. ANyone stumble upon a great painting tool or have some tricks? Or should I shut my wastegate and just get it done? Thanks Phil
