Turn the 3 point blade so the cupped face is facing backwards, as if you were going to plow in reverse. Have the plow blade angled so snow is moved off to one side. Drop the blade and drive forward. The blade tends to ride up a little and won't dig in to the crush and run. It will drag a little stone with it but my experience is that it doesn't drag too much. Actually the stone is relocated a little farther down the driveway. This plowing method leaves a base snow surface about 1" deep or so. There are quite a few crush and run driveways in my nieborhood I have plowed in this way. I have had no complaints yet and have been treated to quite a few beers.
