I have a JD1070 (4WD) and it has a loader on the front and a scraper blade on the back. We don't get much snow but when we do it can be wet and deep. I've got about 1/4 mile of gravel road to deal with to get to the highway. The loader doesn't seem to help much because I need to push it aside vs. dig out. If I rotate my scraper blade at an angle and plow in reverse I tend to dig into the gravel road and make a mess. I thought about making some skids for the scraper blade to keep it from digging in. How would you plow snow with the setup I have??? I need some tips. TIA.
