i have a 1050 with bucket loader and i use the bucket. you set the loader in the float position set the bucket roughly level if you have ice keep it tipped a lil forward if not about level if it looks like its gonna start to dig tip it back a lil and it'll glide right over it. sounds difficult but a few passes and you'll be a master my yard is all dirt and grandma's is gravel havent dug up yet otherwise the best thing would be mount a snowplow on it. i made a frame for my 2510 diesel used an old 72 fisher 6 1/2 ft plow works good too
