Sort of reminds me of the story of the construction crew doing some work within listening distance of the convent. Their language was getting quit rough and so the Holy Mother decided it was time to go out and have a little talk with the workers. When she confronted the forman with her complaint that the workers were using inappropriate language, the forman said that he understood her complaint, but that the guys were used to calling a "spade a spade". To this the Mother Superior replied that if they had called a "spade a spade", she wouldnt have been there. It was that they kept calling it a "G*d D*med Shovel".
