Let's call a spade a spade

I"m looking for feedback from others who feel as I do about things being called something other than what they are, For instance,a common thing to call any brand of rotary cutter is a Bush Hog or a mower conditioner being called a Haybine. Both of these names are registered trademark names by a manufacturer. Now I know I"m going to get scolded by those saying "what"s the difference" but really,why can't we call things what they are. An example being "XYZ company rotary cutter for sale...similar to a Bush Hog" Very confusing when looking through the machinery ads for something specific and everything is called by the same name. OK, let me have it either way.
