Machinery dealers and merchants in general are constantly being asked to donate to one cause or another, they do get very tired of it, and even though it appears they are rolling in dough the fact is that most of them are struggling to keep their heads above water just like all the rest of us. It doesn't hurt to ask for a donation, but if you asked once, and recieved no reply, leave it at that, and go ask someone else.
