I have a 93 F-350, 7.3D 5 speed, 105Kmi. Last fall, the injector pump took a crap on it, so I got another one and installed it. ran great! Until today,,,, it still runs and drives, at an idle it has a every once in a while miss to it, has no real power, not like the old pump had,, you can hold it to the floor, and it will smoke and kill every mosquito inthe area! it flutters when it does this,, not smooth black diesil smoke pours out the exhaust, I think way too much. Pulling a load, it smokes, lacks torque, but still goes down the road. Milage sucks,, maybe 3 mpg if Im lucky. Its very hard to start in the mornings, glow plugs work, but I have to crank and crank, and like pump the pedal to get it to fire up, smokes blue for a minute or two, and quits, clears up. Sometimes, when shifting, it will take off and has alot of power, then it fades off, and goes back to usual. very sluggish, smoky. It has brand new filters and new fuel pump. Could it be the torque screw out of whack? turned up too rich, and flooding it? Bout ready to pull that diesil out and put in a 370 big block gasser! any ideas? thanks,,,, Chad
