I finally got off my butt and got my Dakota to the dealership. I knew if I let the truck sit here, I"d never do anything about it. Got the call this afternoon, head gasket is bad. The bad part is the mechanic said with these little Chrysler 2.5s, 9 out of 10 have a cracked head. He gave me a worse case senerio of around $1200 and some change. Not sure what I"m going to do, it has been a cheap, reliable pickup with lots of new parts. If I get a differant pickup, might have more problems than this one does. So my question to everyone....Does anyone have a concrete wall I can beat my head on?
