Deere never wrote any book on powershifts. Their powershifts are based off the ford Selectospeeds, which were reliable for the most part, some of the early ones had some glitches, but that was all. Ford wrote the book on full powershifts, and deere just edited the book some. All powershifts come from how auto trannies are designed, they are not any different except they shift on command, not automatically. Thats how I see it and have heard it. Hurst
