Hi, Have a JD LX 188, engine seems to have low power and the oil is very thin from tons of gas in there....real runny. Here are some things I checked: Checked both plugs and there is spark there. WHen I pull the right plug wireoff, the engine bogs down, when I pull the left plug wire off, the engine doesnt slow much. Checked compression on both sides, getting between 80 - 95 psi.... Dumped all gas in tank and started with clean new gas, new gas filter. As said, I have never seen oil so gassy smelling and runny, so I changed it. Still cant get much power from the engine? Do they normally run this way? What could be wrong - something in the carb? Thanks in advance for your ideas/tips.
