Trying to test the generator off my JD 440ICD crawler. Plate on the generator is not in great shape but it appears to be a Delco Remy 02102 generator, I think. There are 3 terminals on the generator. One terminal for each brush and one appears to go to the field magnet. There is also another bolt that appears to be a case ground(?). My manual on the machine indicates only two termimals "A" and "F" so either I am missing something or this is not the original generator. What is the best way to test if this is working? I should be able to hook it up to a battery and run the generator as a motor. Anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for this?
