Weed question

Anyone ever dealt with a weed called dodder? It looks like spaghetti and it classified as a parasitic weed. Sounds like some nasty stuff. I got some introduced in an alfalfa/lespedeza field that we planted this spring. I think the seed came from the lespedeza we bought from local co-op (I'll never buy un-certified seed again!). Does anyone know how to control this stuff without destroying the good stuff? I just mowed the field with my haybine but the stuff is so low to the ground it didn't seem to get much of it.
